Paul D. Hannah is an award winning writer, producer and director who is taking Hollywood by storm. Hannah is President of One Truth Media, a film production company, specializing in urban films which have unique story lines centered on African American community themes.

A native of Los Angeles, Hannah graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus in Psychology and Business Management. While living in Seattle, he wrote, produced and directed more than ten theatre productions and received acclaim for his adaptation of Woody Allen’s “Play it again Sam”.

Upon returning to Los Angeles, Hannah won rave reviews for directing the stage plays, “The Redemption of a Dog” and “The Marriage Chronicles.” “The Marriage Chronicles” sold out during its six-week run, and Paul earned an NAACP theatre nomination for best director. In 2009, Hannah wrote, produced and directed his first feature film, “ConSINsual,” starring Keena Ferguson. Upon the success of this first feature film, Hannah signed a five-picture production deal with Vendetta Filmworks and the backing of the internationally distributed studio E One Entertainment.

Now on a roll, in 2010, Hannah made an enormous splash as writer, producer and director of “The Perfect Man,” starring Elise Neal, Jazsmin Lewis, Christian Keyes and Maya Gilbert. The film premiered on BET in August of 2011. Also in 2011, Hannah adapted his staged play, “The Marriage Chronicles,” into a feature film starring Vivica Fox, Persia White, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Jazsmin Lewis, Clifton Powell, Mel Jackson and Terri J. Vaughn. The film was released on DVD February 14, 2012, premiered on BET March 2012 and is in heavy rotation.

Recently in January of 2012, Hannah finished shooting an adaptation of his stage play, “The Redemption of a Dog,” starring Lynn Whitfield, Keith Robinson, Tamera Mowry, Melyssa Ford, Tony Rock and Kiki Haynes. Hannah just completed in March “The Cheaters Club” starring Leon, Rockmond Dunbar, Gary Sturgis, Eva Marcille, Clifton Powell, Jazsmin Lewis, Earthquake, Daphne Duplaix, Terrell Tilford and Maya Gilbert. Currently, Hannah is in post-production as the writer, producer and director of the original suspense thriller, “The Last Letter,” starring Sharon Leal, Omari Hardwick, Gary Dourdan, Tatyana Ali and Bill Cobbs. The film wrapped mid- July amidst great anticipation and press. He is also in pre-production of his much anticipated musical “The Love Shack”.
